If you want purely consensual hypno, look elsewhere.
The primary voice character is not the actual primary character; this story is told from the viewpoint of another. Who, at 18, and having moved a lot, has both a lack of confidence and a hard time making friends.
And she looks like a wonderful target to a hypno domme, who starts with being caring to her, and then basically claims her. And then, opens up to her, shares her story, and the two of them share trust.
Along the way, there is sex, but sex isn’t the main point of the story. What Emma goes through is, and it is recounted by Liz, at the same time that Liz recounts what Emma puts Liz through, some good, some not so good.
This is the story of someone who has the faults and failings of a real person. Who has the ability to hypnotize people to get their wants and needs. Who gives compensation and care in exchange.
As I write this, I realize that she (Emma) is a lot like some fey stories – the magical being that takes control of you, brings you into this strange new life, and gives you gifts in exchange for your time and companionship.
Read this, it’s wonderful!
