Jacob smelled the coffee mug resting on the edge of his desk and winced. The drink had gone stale, just like his dreams. He sat hunched over his cluttered desk, the yellow glow of his old laptop spilling over crumpled drafts and pens that had seen better days.
His apartment was a small box, a sanctuary of frustration and fleeting hope. For almost two years, he had poured every ounce of his energy into writing, chasing a breakthrough that refused to come. Every story he crafted fell flat, and every submission he sent out was either met with silence or outright rejection. One would think that the latter was more painful, but it was actually the former. Not knowing whether someone had read his efforts only made his natural insecurity stronger, and when every day felt like a losing battle, one had to wonder if it was worth trying at all. The shadow of giving up hovered just behind his eyes like a dark cloud he couldn’t brush away.
Jacob rubbed his temples and stared at the screen, seeing nothing but blurry letters ahead. His fingers hovered over the keyboard, shaking. He was teetering on the verge of the abyss, his mind restless, haunted by the characters he had tried to create, but who never truly came alive.
Still, there was a glimmer of expectation, in the form of a figure that had grown from a whisper to a vivid presence in his mind. She was a woman of mystery and power, a dominant force that commanded attention the moment she entered a scene. Her name was Eliza. She was tall, with a regal presence that defied softness, yet her sapphire eyes held depths that beckoned both danger and allure. She was fiercely intelligent, unafraid to take what she wanted, and she always got it. When Jacob wrote about her, he felt a thrill, a sense of purpose that his other stories never delivered.
Tonight, he had been writing about her again, fleshing her out, imagining her in a new scenario where her control extended beyond words. He had lost himself in her world, describing her voice, her movements, and her unyielding confidence. He described her with all his might, as if through his redoubled efforts, she might step off the page at any moment and dominate his life.
He chuckled bitterly at the thought. Of course, that was impossible. She was just a character, ink and imagination. Yet, as the hours slipped by, a strange sensation crept over him. Electricity crackled in the air,r and the shadows in the corners of the room flickered. The silence became a heavy cloak, weighing down on his shoulders.
Jacob blinked and yawned, trying to dispel the fatigue. The room seemed different somehow, as if the very fabric of reality had become malleable. A sudden chill traced down his spine, raising the hairs on his arms. His eyes flicked around, searching for the source of this strange sensation.
And then, he saw her.
There she was, standing near the doorway, her silhouette outlined by the light from his desk lamp. Eliza was tall, poised, and her dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, framing a face that was both stern and alluring. Her eyes shone with an undeniable intensity.
She wore a tailored black blazer over a crisp white blouse, the top button undone just enough to reveal the sharp line of her collarbone. A silver pendant, a raven in flight, rested against her throat, catching what little light the room offered. Her slacks were fitted, charcoal gray, and they fell in clean lines to polished leather boots with a heel that added inches to her already commanding height. A thin leather belt cinched her waist, and on her left wrist, a simple watch gleamed beneath the cuff of her blazer.
Jacob recognized every detail. He had written this exact outfit three days ago, in a scene where Eliza confronted a corrupt executive in a boardroom. For a moment, he hesitated, unsure if he was dreaming or if he had lost his mind for good.
“What the fuck?” he muttered.
She stepped forward slowly, her heels clicking softly against the wooden floor. Her presence was commanding yet strangely inviting.
“Hello, Jacob,” she said. “It’s nice to finally meet you.”
Jacob’s heart pounded in his chest. He reached out instinctively, his hand trembling, and touched her arm. The sensation was immediate and startling: soft, warm, and incredibly real. Her skin was smooth beneath his fingertips.
“This can’t be happening…” he whispered, voice cracking.
She tilted her head slightly, eyes twinkling with amusement. “Oh, but it is. You brought me to life with your words, after all. Every stroke on the keyboard, every thought, every desire… It’s all been weaving me into existence.”
He swallowed hard, struggling to comprehend what was happening. His mind raced, yet a deep, primal part of him responded instinctively to her presence. She moved closer, her gaze never wavering.
“Nah! There’s no way! I must have fallen asleep over the keyboard or something.”
Eliza giggled. “That’s cute. You’ve written about power and control, but you haven’t truly seen what it can be. I’ve come here to show you.”
Without warning, she reached out, her hand resting gently on his chest. Her slender fingers pressed lightly, but the sensation was electric. A shiver rippled through him, a thrilling mix of submission and anticipation.
“And how are you going to do that?”
“With your consent and collaboration, my dear. I need you to do something for me in return, though.”
“Hmm… like what?” Jacob gasped.
“Write more about me,” she whispered, her voice a seductive command. “Give me more scenes and more roles to play. Explore all the ways in which I take charge, and how I get what I want. Make me more powerful in every word you put down.”
Jacob nodded, the impulse overwhelming any hesitation. His fingers were still trembling as he set them on the keyboard, feeling the heat of her body and the intensity of her stare. Whatever boundaries he had held dissolved at that moment. From the moment he had started writing about her, he knew she was special: a muse, an obsession, a living and breathing embodiment of his darkest fantasies.
“The more you write, the more you open your mind, and I want it all, Jacob. Tell me everything. How you want to be controlled. How you crave to be mine. Write it all down. Show me how much you desire to submit.”
Jacob’s hands hovered over the keyboard, uncertainty giving way to a compulsion so strong he barely recognized himself in the act. The more he typed, the more words came, as if Eliza’s spirit possessed not only his mind but every muscle, every reflex. He watched her in the flickering light of the desk lamp, and she watched him back, not as a muse, but as a judge, a sovereign who demanded not only attention but devotion. He wrote her as indomitable, invincible, a force of nature inseparable from the storm swirling in his own imagination. She was no longer the product of his second guesses and late-night edits; she had become the architect of his surrender.
He could see her standing behind him, a silhouette in obsidian and ivory, the flickering lamp giving her hair an otherworldly sheen. She paced behind his chair, her boots barely making a sound on the floorboards, but every step sent a tremor through the air. He tried to look back, to catch her in his peripheral vision, but she would always be just out of sight, more felt than seen. It was as if the room bent around her, conceding its angles and shadows to her presence.
The words came faster. He wrote of her entering the room, of her measured steps, of the way she surveyed every inch of her domain with predatory patience. He wrote of her voice: a velvet scalpel, each syllable precise, slicing straight to the core of him. He described, in excruciating detail, the subtle arch of her eyebrow as she appraised him, the cold amusement that curled her lips when he dared to look up. When he typed the line, “You were made for this, Jacob,” he shivered, as if she had reached through the screen and whispered it directly into the folds of his brain.
He heard the click of her boots coming closer, felt the gentle but inescapable pressure of her hand on his shoulder. Jacob froze, tension radiating from his neck to his fingertips, but her touch was a balm, not a threat. It steadied him, even as it sent his pulse racing. He could feel the heat from her body, the faintest trace of her perfume—jasmine, yes, but with a darker note, something dangerous and magnetic that drew him in.
She leaned down, her lips close enough that her breath stirred the short hairs along his jaw. “Keep writing,” she said. The command was soft, but it carried the gravity of a verdict. “I want to see what you make of me when you’re not afraid to tell the truth.”
Jacob typed with renewed desperation, as if his life depended on it. He wrote of her hands, how one could be gentle and the other ruthlessly efficient, how she wielded tenderness and cruelty as two sides of the same coin. He wrote of the games she played, how she would test his limits and reshape them, how she would strip him of pretenses with surgical precision. He wrote of her eyes—deep, cold, and bottomless—and how meeting her gaze felt less like a challenge and more like a benediction.
He could sense her satisfaction as he wrote. She circled him, leaned against the edge of his desk, and read every new sentence as it appeared on the screen. Sometimes, she would reach over and rest her palm on the back of his neck, kneading the tension there, as if coaxing the words out by sheer force of will. Other times, she would catch his chin between her thumb and forefinger, turning his face toward hers, making sure he understood that the story belonged to her now, that she would accept nothing but honesty and complete surrender.
The longer he spent glued to the screen, the more Jacob lost track of the world outside the pool of light on his desk. The sounds of the city faded; the ticking of the clock on the wall became irrelevant. All that mattered was the next sentence, and the next, each one tightening the thread between himself and the woman he had invented but who now seemed to have invented him. He wrote until the skin beneath his nails burned, until his breath came in shallow, uneven bursts, until he felt as if he might burst from the inside out.
And all the while, Eliza pushed him further. She would whisper suggestions, never commands, but always with the weight of inevitability. “What if I told you to let go?” she murmured once, pressing her lips to the shell of his ear. “What if you did everything I asked, and found that you liked it?” He wrote those words, and when he read them back, he felt them echo in his bones.
She was relentless. She wanted to be written as relentless. She demanded that he find the edge of his own endurance, that he confess desires he had never admitted even to himself. She made him write about the moments when she would press him to the wall, hold his wrists in a grip that was equal parts restraint and reassurance, and kiss him with a hunger that left bruises. She made him write about her voice in his head, not as a hallucination, but as a constant companion: sometimes mocking, sometimes kind, always hungry for devotion.
Jacob tried to regain some measure of control, to write her softer, more forgiving, but Eliza would have none of it. She erased those lines before he even finished typing them, replacing them with words of her own. He would blink and find new sentences, new paragraphs, that he didn’t remember composing. “I am not here to save you,” she wrote through his fingers. “I am here to show you who you are when you have nothing left to hide behind.”
The realization hit him like a wave: he was not the author anymore. He was the medium. She was the story. He surrendered to it, and in that surrender, he found a strange kind of freedom.
His hands shook with fatigue and exhilaration, but still he wrote. He described the feeling of her mouth against his, the pressure of her body pinning him between her and the desk, the dizzying sensation of her lips traveling down his neck, her hands stripping away his last defenses. He wrote of the way she never asked for permission, only for trust, and how he gave it, over and over, until there was nothing left to give.
And when he finally paused, gasping for air, Eliza stood behind him, her arms draped loosely around his shoulders, her chin resting on the crown of his head. She kissed him there, a gesture both possessive and oddly tender.
“You did well,” she said, running her fingers through his hair. “But we’re not done yet. There’s so much more to explore, Jacob.”
He looked up at her, barely able to speak, but she only smiled and pointed to the blinking cursor on the screen. “You know what I want next,” she said. “You’ve always known.”
Jacob typed the next line with trembling hands, letting the words come without resistance. He wrote what she demanded, and in doing so, felt himself become something more than he had ever imagined.
Her presence was unlike anything he had ever known before. The line between his imagination and reality blurred so completely that he could no longer tell where one ended and the other began. The sensation of her skin beneath his fingertips was real, her warmth pressed against him as if she belonged there, and the subtle scent of her perfume seemed to seep into his skin.
“Yes,” he managed to say, voice thick with longing. “I understand.”
Her smile grew wider.
“You want to submit,” she murmured, her voice a low, seductive growl. “You want to be mine, completely. You crave my dominance, my authority, but you’ve been too afraid to admit it. Not anymore, do you hear?”
He swallowed hard, shame and desire swirling inside him. Yes, he was afraid of what it meant to surrender so fully. But he was also impossibly drawn to her, to this strange, intoxicating presence that had materialized from his deepest fantasies.
“Tell me,” she continued, her fingers trailing along the collar of his shirt, drawing a shiver from him. “Tell me how much you want to give yourself to me. Write it down. Show me how desperately you desire to be controlled.”
The words spilled from his mind almost involuntarily. He described her as a goddess of dominance, a woman who commanded with every glance, who took what she wanted without apology. He described her voice as a whip that drove him to his knees, her touch as a fire that consumed him. Every sentence he crafted was a declaration of his surrender, a confession of his craving for her authority.
As Jacob typed, her other hand reached out, fingers wrapping around his wrist and guiding his hand to rest on her waist. Her body pressed gently against him now, her curves fitting against his frame as if they were made for each other. His skin tingled where she touched him, every nerve alive with the thrill of her dominance.
“You see,” she whispered into his ear, her breath warm and intoxicating. “You are mine now. Every word you write binds you closer to me. Every thought you have belongs to me. You are becoming more and more my property, Jacob.”
Her voice was both an order and a promise, a seductive melody that seeped into his mind and refused to let go. He felt himself surrendering more with each passing second, the boundaries between creator and creation dissolving into something far more primal. His mind was consumed with images of her ordering him around, her lips whispering commands that made him ache with longing.
Eliza tilted his chin up, forcing him to meet her gaze once again. Her eyes burned with a fierce resolve, a promise of unyielding control. She was a force of nature, a vessel of raw power that had manifested in his small apartment. Every part of him wanted to give in, to let her have what she wanted.
“Good. Now, say it all out loud. Be honest and do not hold anything back, Jacob.”
His heart pounded in his chest as he struggled to find the words. His voice trembled when he finally spoke. “I want to serve you. I want you to take control of me completely. I want you to command everything I do. I want to feel your hands on me, your voice guiding every move. I want to be yours.”
“Excellent, my pet. We can finally begin,” she purred.
